My Wine Recommendations
The wines I list here are what I would keep in my own cellar and they are obtainable (neither rare nor expensive). |

Where to buy |
|
Balthazar Ress Rheingau Reisling
|
This German wine is simply the finest wine for the price ($13 range) that I have found available in America. It is a crisp, dry white, not at all what the American market expects of German reislings.

Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc
|
This cheap ($8) New Zealand wine has become my house white and is certainly the favorite amongst my friends (being a bit sweet).

Rosemount Shiraz

This Australian wine is my house red, pleasing most people who want a red. Good value for nine bucks.

Penfold's Bin 389
|
An Australian blend (no apology necessary) of cabernet sauvignon and shiraz that is consistent in quality; simply a very good red. Usually sells for around $25.
